Ingredients
  • 200 gr. flour
  • 50 gr almond powder
  • 100 gr. butter
  • 100 gr. icing sugar
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Icing sugar
  • Anise
  • Lemon zest
Preparation
  1. With the help of a fork, mix the flour with the butter, almond powder, icing sugar, a pinch of ground cinnamon, lemon zest and a splash of anise. When you’ve formed a workable dough, shape into balls and place for one hour in the fridge.
  2. Now squash the balls slightly and place in preheated oven at 180ºC for 15/20 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and plenty of icing sugar. Serve cold as a traditional Christmas treat.
