- 200 gr. flour
- 50 gr almond powder
- 100 gr. butter
- 100 gr. icing sugar
- Ground cinnamon
- Icing sugar
- Lemon zest
- With the help of a fork, mix the flour with the butter, almond powder, icing sugar, a pinch of ground cinnamon, lemon zest and a splash of anise. When you’ve formed a workable dough, shape into balls and place for one hour in the fridge.
- Now squash the balls slightly and place in preheated oven at 180ºC for 15/20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and plenty of icing sugar. Serve cold as a traditional Christmas treat.
