Ingredients
  • 100 gr. flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 30 ml. olive oil
  • 30 ml. anise
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • Cinnamon
  • Honey
  • Caster sugar
Preparation
  1. Beat the egg with anise, salt, sugar and olive oil. Stir in flour, stirring constantly until a you obtain a thick, creamy dough.
  2. On a floured work surface, roll out the dough forming little cakes and fry in plenty of hot oil.  Poke them with a wooden spoon now and again so they curl in on themselves.
  3. Dry off the oil and serve covered with honey, cinnamon and caster sugar.
You can fill these fritters with fruit compotes or jams.Sweet wine.
