- 100 gr. flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 30 ml. olive oil
- 30 ml. anise
- 1 egg
- Caster sugar
- Beat the egg with anise, salt, sugar and olive oil. Stir in flour, stirring constantly until a you obtain a thick, creamy dough.
- On a floured work surface, roll out the dough forming little cakes and fry in plenty of hot oil. Poke them with a wooden spoon now and again so they curl in on themselves.
- Dry off the oil and serve covered with honey, cinnamon and caster sugar.
You can fill these fritters with fruit compotes or jams.Sweet wine.
