A bite-sized version of the classic salad

Ingredients
  • 4 puff pastry tartlets
  • 2 cherry tomatoes

For the salad:

  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 50 g of peas
  • 1 bunch of green beans
  • 1 small tomato
  • chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chives
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small can of tuna
  • 1 handful of green olives
  • 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
Preparation
  1. Boil the potatoes, beans and whole eggs, whole peeled carrots and peas in salted boiling water. Use the same water to scald and then peel the  tomatoes. Allow everything to cool .
  2. Peel and dice the vegetable. Dice the olives and tomatoes (without seeds).
  3. Grate the hard boiled egg and add the tuna without oil.
  4. Mix all ingredients with mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper and reserve in the refrigerator until time to serve.
  5. At serving time, fill the tarts with the Russian salad and garnish with cherry tomatoes.
