Ingredients
  • 250 gr. rocket
  • A tray of cherry tomatoes
  • 2 pears
  • 100 gr. Iberian ham
  • A wedge of Roquefort cheese
  • 50 gr. of dates
  • Olive oil
  • Cider Vinegar
  • 1.5l red wine
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 100 gr. sugar

 

Preparation
  1. Put the peeled pears in a saucepan with wine and cinnamon, and simmer for about 30 minutes until the pears are tender.
  2. Then add sugar and simmer for a further 10 minutes. Remove the pears from the wine and allow to cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients, add a few slices of candied pear to the wine and sprinkle with a dash of olive oil and another of cider vinegar.
You can also cook the pears in white wine. Add nuts to a salad or even a few thin slices of Iberian ham.
