Ingredients
  • 800 gr of lean beef
  • 3 spring onions
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1-2 green peppers
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 100 g of fine bulgur wheat
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • Parsley
  • 2 tsp sweet or spicy paprika
  • 1/2 cup cumin
  • 2 tbs of baharat
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice
  • 1-2 lemons
  • Olive oil
Preparation
  1. Mince the meat 2-3 times through a mincer
  2. Peel the onions, wash the peppers. Brunoise all these vegetables
  3. Peel and remove the seeds from the tomatoes and dice into small pieces
  4. Hydrate the bulgur wheat in 200 ml of water
  5. Reserve ¼ of the vegetables and mix the rest except the tomatoes with the minced meat, add the spices, hydrated bulgur wheat, lemon juice, chopped parsley and mix it up well kneading it a little then add the tomatoes and mix.
  6. Serve on a tray, over the top of the dish add the rest of the vegetables pour over a stream of olive oil and serve
