Ingredients
  • 6 or 7 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • ½ small red pepper
  • 150 gr. cabbage
  • ½ stick of celery
  • 1 banana
  • About 6 ice cubes
  • 200 ml. water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 sprig of lemon thyme

For the skewers:

  • 4 celery sticks
  • 4 pieces of banana
  • 4 slices of red pepper
Preparation
  1. Wash all the vegetables, chop and put into a tall container. Peel and slice the bananas. Add to the vegetables.
  2. Blend all into a smooth cream. Strain and add water if you want a finer consistency. Cover and reserve in the refrigerator.
  3. Assemble the skewers with a piece of banana, one of pepper and one of celery.
  4. Serve the soup in glasses and accompany with the skewers and a sprig of lemon thyme.
You can add 1 or 2 cloves of raw garlic and vinegar to replace the lemon juice, as these have well-known therapeutic properties. You can also substitute another fresh herb for the lemon thyme.
