Ingredients
  • 1 cauliflower
  • 450 gr. onion
  • 900 gr. of mixed vegetables: carrot, cucumber, etc., cleaned and chopped
  • 225 gr. salt
  • 2.4 l. water
  • 200 gr. sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger
  • 1 l. white wine vinegar
  • 25 gr. flour
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
Preparation
  1. Add all the chopped vegetables to a jar and mix with salt. Cover with water and let stand for 24 hours. Then drain the vegetables and wash in fresh water.
  2. Boil the white wine vinegar in a saucepan with the spices and sugar; add the vegetables and cook for 10 minutes. Conserve in the usual way.
  3. Goes great with sausages, grilled meats or just on toast.
