Ingredients
  • 350 g of pineapple
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 300 ml of water
  • 50 g clear honey or rice syrup
Preparation
  1. Peel pineapple and cut into thin slices.
  2. Meanwhile, take the vanilla pod, slit it open lengthways and scrape out the seeds. Add to  a saucepan of water along with the honey or syrup and boil over a high heat until dissolved. Lower the heat, add the the pineapple slices, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat, place in bowl and allow to cool.
  3. Serve.
