- 1 stick of day-old bread
- 1 liter milk
- Orange / lemon rind
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 100 gr. sugar
- Seasonal Fruit
- Ice Cream
- Heat up the milk with the ornage/lemon rind, sugar and cinnamon; when the milk starts to boil, remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Cut the bread into slices and soak in warm milk. Let the bread absorb the milk and cool down completely: you can place in the refrigerater for an hour.
- When the bread is cold, coat with flour and egg and fry in plenty of olive oil. Dry off any excess oil and allow to cool.
- Serve with seasonal fruit or a light ice cream, vanilla, cinnamon … sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
