Ingredients
- 800 gr of lean beef
- 3 spring onions
- 1 red onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1-2 green peppers
- 1 yellow pepper
- 100 g of fine bulgur wheat
- 2-3 tomatoes
- Parsley
- 2 tsp sweet or spicy paprika
- 1/2 cup cumin
- 2 tbs of baharat
- Salt
- Lemon juice
- 1-2 lemons
- Olive oil
Preparation
- Mince the meat 2-3 times through a mincer
- Peel the onions, wash the peppers. Brunoise all these vegetables
- Peel and remove the seeds from the tomatoes and dice into small pieces
- Hydrate the bulgur wheat in 200 ml of water
- Reserve ¼ of the vegetables and mix the rest except the tomatoes with the minced meat, add the spices, hydrated bulgur wheat, lemon juice, chopped parsley and mix it up well kneading it a little then add the tomatoes and mix.
- Serve on a tray, over the top of the dish add the rest of the vegetables pour over a stream of olive oil and serve
