Cheap and cheerful

  • 4 baked potatoes
  • 120 gr of cheddar or gruyere, grated
  • 4 slices of ham chopped
  1. Preheat oven to 200ºC (Fan 180º/Gas 6).
  2. Scrub your potatoes and pat dry
  3. Then, prick several times with a fork and sprinkle with salt
  4. Bake directly on the oven shelf for 1-1:30h, until soft inside
  5. When the potatoes are ready, make a cross in the top of the potato and mash the flesh with a fork
  6. Add the ham and sprinkle with cheese
  7. Place under the grill for 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts
