What you will need

  • White eggs
  • Food colouring
  • Rice
  • Onion skin
  • Muslim material
  • Cotton thread

Method

  1. Dip the egg with a little of water and then start to put on the grains of rice.
  2. Then wrap the egg into the onion skin and then into the gauze and tie it all well with kitchen string.
  3. Prepare this way all the eggs.
  4. Now prepare two pots with water and put them to boil.Once the water is at its boiling point  ​​put some drops of different food coloring in every pot and start to lay eggs inside.
  5. Let the eggs boil 7 minutes.Then remove the pan from the heat let it cool a bit and put them in the fridge for a few hours so the egg shell will absorb better the dye.
  6. Then take out the casserole from the refrigerator remove eggs from water and take out the onion skin and rice.
  7. It is very fun to do this and you'll see the result will surprise you!
