Ingredients

    • Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples
    • 1 sheet puff pastry
    • Sugar
    • 25 gr. butter
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • 1 sprig rosemary

Method

  1. In a saucepan, prepare a caramel with the sugar over low heat until it begins to brown.
  2. Add the sliced apples and let them caramelize slightly, add butter, rosemary and cinnamon and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Arrange the apple slices in a fan shape in the chosen molds  and cover with slightly rolled and pierced puff pastry. Bake for 10 minutes at 200 º.  Remove from oven, flip the mold and serve with the tarte with cinnamon or vanilla ice cream, or even warmed , unwhipped cream.

Tip

You can bake little puff pastry circles and serve with apple compote for a similar starter.
