Ingredients

    • 800g minced beef
    • 4 artichokes
    • 2 slices of bread
    • 100ml milk
    • 2 baby onions
    • 2 eggs
    • Olive oil
    • Salt and pepper
    • Brie

Method

  1. In a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil, fry the finely cut onions until they soften and begin to caramelize. Remove from heat and reserve.
  2. Clean and peel the artichokes until you reach the hearts then cook in boiling water until tender, remove from the heat and allow to cool.
  3. In a bowl mix the milk with the bread slices until they absorb the liquid. Then add the ground beef, salt and pepper, sautéed onions, eggs and cooked artichokes which have been cut into small cubes). Mix well and allow to stand for 10 minutes.
  4. Form 4 patties and let them sit for 10 minutes. Now heat up a pan with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt add the burgers and cook to taste. Serve with a salad of your choice and a chunk of Brie

Tip

You can add other cooked vegetables to the ground beef i.e. corgette, aubergine or roasted peppers and small cubes of cheese.
