Ingredients

    • 3 tinned red peppers
    • 3-4 sprigs cilantro
    • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
    • 2 pinches of asafetida (a spice)
    • Salt
    • 200 grams of cooked lentils
    • ½ cup of boiled brown rice
    • ½ cup bread crumbs

Method

  1. Mix the peppers, cilantro, spices and salt in a blender.
  2. Add this mix to the lentils and rice, then add the breadcrumbs until the consistency allows you to shape the patties.
  3. Fry in plenty of hot sunflower oil until golden-brown on the outside.
