Watermelon with melted chocolate

Ingredients

    • 800g watermelon
    • 150g of black chocolate
    • A sprig of fresh basil

Method

  1. Wash the watermelon and cut into slice of 2 – 3 cm thick.  
  2. Melt the chocolate in Bain Marie or the microwave.  
  3. Heat a griddle to a high temperature and sear the watermelon on both sides.  
  4. Serve the melon with the melted chocolate and a sprig of fresh basil.

Like cantaloupe, watermelon is a fruit rich in Vitamin A
