Tomatoes stuffed with ham

Ingredients

    • 4 large tomatoes
    • 200 gr. cubed ham
    • 100 gr. gruyere cheese
    • 1 small red pepper
    • 1 small green pepper
    • 1 onion
    • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
    • Olive oil

Method

  1. Cut off the top of the tomato and, with the help of a spoon, scoop out the inside. Reserve.
  2. Saute the onion and diced peppers with a drizzle of olive oil. Once the vegetables are soft, add the ham and mustard seeds.
  3. Stuff the tomatoes with this mixture and add the diced cheese. Bake at 190ºC for 10 minutes. Serve.

Tip

You can add diced chicken to the dish, and use your favorite cheese. You can flavor this recipe with herbs you fancy.
