Ingredients

    • 6 sheets filo pastry
    • 3 apples
    • 1/4 cup raisins
    • 1 tablepoon cinnamon
    • 80 gr. brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
    • 3 tablespoons castor sugar
    • 2 tablespoons ground almonds
    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Method

  1. Cut the 6 sheets of filo pastry in half, lengthwise, giving you 12 sheets to make 12 rolls.
  2. Peel and cut apples into small cubes. Add the apple, raisins, cinnamon, sugar and bread to a bowl. Stir well.
  3. Brush each sheet of filo pastry with a little oil and add the apple filling. Roll each up and brush with oil again. Meabwhile, in another bowl, mix the almonds and sugar and sprinkle the mixture over the rolls.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes at 180ºC, or until golden brown.
