Tomatoes stuffed with cabbage and ham

Ingredients

    • 4 small tomatoes
    • 250 gr. winter cabbage
    • 2 medium potatoes
    • 100 gr. Iberian ham
    • 1 sprig of oregano
    • 2 Cloves garlic
    • Olive oil

Method

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender. Meanwhile, in another saucepan, cook the cabbage leaves for a few minutes.
  2. Cut the tomatoes in half and roast in the oven for 10 minutes at 180ºC. Once the ingredients are ready, saute finely chopped garlic with a dash of olive oil, and add the peeled potato and cabbage leaves. Mix well and serve on the tomato halves. Sprinkle with sliced cured ham and serve with oregano leaves.

Tip

We can also serve this dish with diced, sauteed squid, smoked salmon or cod or chopped bacon.
