Ingredients

    • 400 gr. semi-cured chorizo sausage (not too sweet nor too dry)
    • ½ l. white wine or dry red wine
    • 1 bay leaf
    • ½ clove garlic
    • Olive oil
    • Bread

Method

  1. Cut the garlic into thin slices and saute slowly in a pan with a little olive oil.
  2. Add the chorizo, half the wine and the bay leaf and simmer slowly for 15 to 20 minutes. Save the other half of the wine in another container.
  3. Cut the chorizo into discs and add to another pan with half the wine. Bring to the boil for a few minutes to evaporate the alcohol.
  4. Serve in small earthenware pots, in a dish or on a slice of bread.
