Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of raspberries.
  • 1 kg of sugar.
  • 2 apple cores.


Method:

  1. Thoroughly wash the berries, remove the stalk and let them drain. 
  2. Sprinkle sugar over the rasberries and let them release all thier juice for a couple of hours.
  3. Once macerated the raspberries put them in a saucepan over high heat until boiling. Stir with wooden spoon. Making sure not to boil over.
  4. Cook for 2 hours over a slow heat with the apple cores.
  5. Put the jam in the sterilized jars. 
  6. Cover and boil in water to create a vacuum in the jars.
  7. Leave to cool for 24 hours.

Cut out pretty material tops to cover your jam jar. Finishing off with a pretty ribbon and homemade label. Great gift ideas for all year round.

Tip

Make sure not to boil over!
