It is well known that humans are the only species on the planet that continue to drink milk after suckling. However scientists and nutrition experts are of the agreement that drinking large amounts for a specified time may cause deficiencies in the body. Although there is a large market for soya milk it is also shown that this is not very suitable for humans. So if you insist on drinking any type of milk why not drink something which is easy and economical, with a characteristically high level of nutrition and flavor. This drink has the advantage of not being subject to any high temperatures and is based on nuts or seeds germinated in water. This produces an energetic drink with a fresh vibration!
Here is an alternative to milk and soya which can be prepared with different nuts and from the basic recipe (see below); other things can be produced such as sauces, desserts, smoothies mixed with different spices, fruits, sweeteners etc.
NATURAL ALMOND MILK
METHOD
Note
- There are many different varieties of milk using sesame, sunflower, pumpkin, walnuts, hemp, buckwheat, nuts, bird seed and groundnuts. These can be sweetened using dates, stevia agave syrup etc. It can also be flavored with cinnamon, anise, cocoa or whatever your imagination desires.
- The pulp can be used to make pies, sweets or you can dehydrate and use as flour.
